Workplace Reintegration (BEM) for Companies
Evidence-based. Confidential. Clearly structured.
At a glance
What is it?
Since 2004, employers in Germany have been required under § 167(2) of the German Social Code IX to offer employees company reintegration management (Betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement, BEM) after longer periods of incapacity for work. Done well, BEM helps people return to work – and helps companies retain skilled staff.
Who is it for?
In particular, small and medium-sized companies without their own BEM structure – and companies that want to improve their existing procedure.
This consulting does not replace legal advice. For individual questions of employment law, I recommend consulting a specialist employment lawyer.
